Welcome
Welcome to the FACC joint website in the United States and Finland. The
purpose of this website is to give you an overview of all Finnish American
Chambers and to serve as a key resource for Trans-Atlantic networking and
business contacts.
The Finnish American Chamber of Commerce was founded in 1948 in New York
to protect, develop, encourage, promote and foster trade, business, financial
or professional interests and commercial relations between Finland and
the United States.
With the new challenges of the 21st century, the rapid information flow
and globalization, the FACC is renewing itself to promote and stimulate
the partnership between Finland and the U.S. for our current and prospective
members. However, some facts remain constant: the search for new business
opportunities, the importance of knowledge, the desire to network and preserve
our cultural bonds. These were the driving forces in the creation of FACC
New York in 1948. We are confident that these needs of business people
will remain indefinitely.
We trust you will find this website informative and a useful tool in finding
information about different FACC chambers. We always welcome new members
to help strengthen our organization.
On behalf of all FACC Chambers
Neal Beaton, President of FACC New York
